Gadget Guru – The Recruiter Who Wasn’t – August 2026
When Ian the Gadget Guru is contacted by a “recruiter” with a tempting job offer, a few red flags quickly give the game away. Rather than simply ignore the scam, Ian decides to have a little fun, keeping the scammer busy for a couple of days before the inevitable request for money arrives. His story is a timely reminder to stay alert: scammers are persuasive, practiced and very good at making their demands sound legitimate.
